A poem unfair

“A Poem Unfair” is a poem dedicated to those fallen on the battlefield of human relationships, an epitaph to oneself who, in the heat of that conflict, faced with their own self, became their own enemy. The motivational moments for this poem of conflict stem from the sediment of memories of past violent situations and the present realization that one can never fully escape conflict. The scene created here serves as a reflective surface where both participants and observers can find their own patterns of behavior. However, as with all conflicts, its resolution might happen relatively quickly, but the process of forgetting and healing from inflicted wounds takes time. The heroes of this unfair poem may fare well through the dynamics of conflict initiation, escalation, cessation, and reflection, allowing them to move on. Yet, they step forward into a life marked by one more furrow etched into their being.
