THIS IS (W)HERE I POST FROM!

“Nominis, in her attempt to practice magic and her desire to protect technology and existence within it, shows us her regular protection ritual, or as she likes to call it: ‘blessing the electronics.’”
Glitter, an original outfit, screens, nails, heels: on the edge of the intertwined, imagined online world and the material objects in the real space, Nominis was born. A persona who hops between our traditional tangible world and the physically elusive virtual one, she tries to make the most of both cosmoses. She experiments with various materials, blending digital and traditional media, and thus enters the screens where she wanders and discovers various objects. Naturally, like any content creator, Nominis sometimes glitches, and now and then, her artificial nails fall off as she tries to tighten the buckle on her heels.
To protect herself, her software, and hardware from tracking, viruses, and hacking, and to maintain balance in her two places of existence, Nominis takes on the role of the witch-artificial-artist. She tries to use magic and knowledge she gathered from internet portals and books, highlighted by imagination and overthinking:
“I glued a glitter on the webcam, I got a notification that I am vulnerable, my location is revealed, the IP address of my ‘this is where I post from’ world has been discovered. Those who are looking for me will now easily find me because I am vulnerable, vulnerably surfing seeking protection from vulnerability. It says again that they are tracking me, they know what I’m doing. They’ve glued trackers and cookies on me like glitter stuck to fabric. I just watched an unexpected video of myself, just to confuse them, or to confuse myself. ******* ****** is running to measure your health data. 4 privacy issues detected. I am purifying my tools and portals for existence in the digital, calling for the speed of the internet and crossing through the distances and countries I travel online. I am calling for connection as the path of light and fire.”
In her attempt to practice magic and her desire to protect technology and existence within it, Nominis shows us her regular protection ritual, or as she likes to call it: “blessing the electronics.”
